Archmage's Staff

Recently, a famous Mage approached me... It is not my practice to reveal my clients' names, so let us simply call him M. M. confessed that his powers are no longer what they once were, and that envious rivals may soon oust him. The only solution is to acquire the archmage's staff, which, according to rumor, was once kept on the ninth floor of the Light Tower. Can you obtain the staff? I will pay any price!
