They settled in Algol, desiring seeking peace and isolation. Ares was furious. He cursed Algol, poisoning the water and salting the fields. The Titans were forced to choose: leave the only home they knew or perish. They chose migration. In the beginning things were peaceful, until a human named Akemon came to power. Akemon, poisoned by the will of Ares, spread lies and half-truths about the supposedly bestial Titans. Slowly but surely, humanity prepared for war. Akemon led the first attacks himself, razing villages and slaughtering all. From the frailty of man, Ares got the war he wanted. Bred for battle, the Titans quickly took to the offensive. Since few can survive the onslaught of a blood-crazed Titan, their counterattack took the humans unaware. The following war was one of the bloodiest, most horrific events in history. This letter came from a young cadet named Jiore at the start of the Great War. Jiore survived, and did quite well for himself in the years following. Bring him this letter.
